Juneau- A Princess Cruise Lines ship discovered a dead whale on its bulbous bow this morning while cruising south of Juneau, according to a press release from the company.
The Sapphire Princess, the ship that discovered the whale, was scheduled to arrive in Juneau at 1:30 p.m. Princess contacted both the U.S. Coast Guard and the National Marine Fisheries Service after discovering the whale.
The cruise ship was release to continue to Juneau.
