Charities sharing $550,000 from Permanent Fund

ANCHORAGE – A total of $550,000 is on the way to more than 300 charities around Alaska.
State residents pledged the money from their Permanent Fund dividend payments.
The Anchorage Daily News reports this was the first year of the campaign called “Pick. Click. Give.”
Some of the biggest recipients: The Food Bank of Alaska is getting $29,000. The Alaska Public radio and TV network is receiving $19,000.
